Senior Performing Arts
Thursdays 6pm - 9pm
Ages 16 - 19
THEsBIZ! is a three hour performance based class with all lessons leading to an exam or a performance.
This class will give invaluable experience to any student wishing to pursue a career in performing arts.
Also this is an excellent support class for students studying Drama at GCSE, A Level or BTEC or for anyone who simply
wishes to build on their skills and self-confidence!
Make new friends, develop your imagination and creativity and increase your skills in all areas of Performing Arts including Musical Theatre, Acting, Mime, Improvisation, Singing & Voice Control, Street Theatre, Dance, Movement, Physical Theatre, Group Audition Practice, Acting for TV & Film, Stage Combat.
Students will also explore production roles
(including technical, directing, costume,) and explore careers in performing arts.
Students perform in our showcase in July...
This
class is an excellent step towards further/higher education in
Drama or
Musical Theatre.
Past students have attained places at Drama Schools
(including LIPA, Central School of Speech and Drama, The Arts Educational School and E15 Acting School), Dance Schools
(including The Laban Centre), Universities, The National Youth
Theatre, The National Youth Music Theatre, as well as having secured professional work in Film, TV and
Theatre.
Following their 99% Distinction at Grade 7, THEsBIZ! senior students recently took their Grade 8 (Highest Grade) Group Performance Arts exam and attained an outstanding 100% perfect scoreDistinction!
They are Trinity Guildhall National Award Winners!
