A brilliant text-based acting class suitable for students wishing to enter Trinity Guildhall exams for extra UCAS points; work towards Auditions or gain extra knowledge and skills to help with GCSE, A Level or BTEC drama.
Exploring classical dramatists, new and world dramatists, staging techniques, characterisation, plot, text and sub-text .... in fact all aspects needed to help ensure you gain great marks and success!
For exams, Solo candidates can choose between the following syllabus options: Speech and Drama; Performing Text; Individual Acting Skills; Shakespeare; World Dramatists; Musical Theatre Solo; Performance Arts Solo. Pairs may enter for the following subjects: Acting in Pairs; World Dramatists; Musical Theatre Pairs; Performance Arts Pairs.
UCAS Points for Higher Grades

Advanced Grade Qualifications (Grades 6 – 8) in Solo and Pairs examinations have been accepted into the UK Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) tariff and will attract the following UCAS points for University and HE entry from 2008 onwards:

Merit 35 points
Distinction 40 points
Grade 7
Pass 35 points
Merit 50 points
Distinction 55 points
Grade 8
Pass 45 points
Merit 60 points
Distinction 65 points
